Only if it stays in the country rather than leaving as a shipper-owned container. We supply the unit ex-depot; customs formalities are not part of the sale, so where a unit remains in the EU your forwarder or customs agent files the import declaration and settles any VAT due.
Yes. Haulage is quoted as a separate line so you can compare it with your own carrier. Self-collection at the depot is always available.
Depot units can be inspected at the depot by appointment before release. For gate-buy units you receive the unit numbers and the vessel details in advance, and the units are new-build one-trip with CSC plates.
