New and Used Containers in US and Canadian Depots, Priced and Ready

One-trip is a new-build container that made a single cargo voyage from the factory, released for sale at the depot with its original paint and CSC plate. Two-trip and three-trip are the same new-build units after two or three voyages, priced accordingly. New, as-is is a new unit with a noted cosmetic or handling defect, stated on the line and on your quotation. Used, cargo-worthy is a carrier-retired unit surveyed as fit for cargo, with its build years and owner prefix shown. Used, damaged is sold as-is for storage or conversion, damage noted at the depot.

The price shown is the per-unit price ex-depot in US dollars, excluding sales tax, and it holds until the next list update. Your quotation restates it in writing with the service fee and, if you want it, haulage to your site.

Units marked In depot normally release within days of cleared payment. Arriving units are on the way to the depot and release once received and checked; the line states the expected timing where the depot has given one.

Depot units can be inspected at the depot by appointment before release. For new units you receive unit numbers, plates and photos before the balance moves; for used units you receive the survey grade and photos of the specific box.

You receive an invoice from Silknet Hong Kong Limited and pay to a corporate account. Depot units are released against cleared funds. As with any container purchase, check that the beneficiary name matches the company on your paperwork before sending funds, and confirm any change of bank instructions by phone with a contact you already have.

Units release for self-collection by your trucks at the named depot. Where you want it, we quote haulage to your site as a separate line so you can compare it with your own carrier. Tilt-bed delivery to a prepared pad is the usual method for single units.

Inland mountain depots carry the rail leg from the coast inside the price. If your site is nearer a coastal depot, the line-by-line list lets you compare the container price against the haulage from a cheaper location.

Prices at Canadian depots are in US dollars like the rest of the list. Units are collected in the country listed; a unit moving across the US-Canada border afterwards is the buyer's move, and your carrier or customs broker handles it.
